Located in Southern California, Los Angeles is the city of entertainment. Many dream of going there for a variety of different reasons including visiting Universal Studios, Disneyland, Hollywood Walk of Fame and several other attractions that are open to the public. This summer I visited Las Vegas and Los Angeles with my parents and it was a blast!
The highlight of my trip was Universal Studios, Hollywood. More specifically, Harry Potter World. Being a huge Harry Potter fan for years, I was very excited to see the amusement park adaptation of my favourite book and movie series. And of course, tried the legendary butter beer!
My visit to Disneyland brought back many memories of the movies I watched as a child, and gave me nostalgia. I’d have to say the best part of Disneyland was the simulation rides.
Now, our trip to Las Vegas was just as breathtaking and amazing. The Grand Canyon, Bellagio Hotel, The Venetian, Las Vegas Strip and Warner Brothers Studios were the points of interest in that trip.
The first time I ever went on a helicopter was on our way to the Grand Canyons from Las Vegas. It was an amazing experience. I was scared at first but got used to the ride after a while, and when I did, it was much more enjoyable. The view in the end was definitely worth it.
Bellagio Hotel is a beautiful building where many who visit Vegas stay. We however, did not. But we did happen to watch the water show that takes place outside the hotel every twenty minutes, and it was awesome.
Along with the Bellagio another hotel we visited was the Venetian, which is Italian styled. Even though I knew I was in Las Vegas, for a second I believed it was Italy! The designers of the casino hotel really knew their countries.
The next stop on our Vegas trip was the Las Vegas Strip. It was hectic but fun and gave off energetic vibes. Everyone there seemed to be entertained.
My personal favourite part was the tour of the Warner Brother Studios, which included seeing the set of the Big Bang Theory, Pretty Little Liars and Gilmore Girls. It was an experience I’ll never forget. Seeing some of my favourite character’s houses in real life was very cool.
That wrapped up this vacation. I enjoyed it and would love to go back sometime. The attractions, food and culture were amazing. My visit to Las Vegas and Los Angeles was a trip to remember.
